Each grade at Lincoln, kindergarten through grade 5, participate in at least five PLTW Launch modules. ![]() To be eligible for the designation, Lincoln K-8 had to offer at least two PLTW Launch modules at each grade level and have more than 75 percent of the student body participating during the 2018-19 school year. The PLTW Distinguished School recognition honors schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW programs. “Students are encouraged to be creative and to make and learn from mistakes.” “Teachers love this material as it provides hands on experiences, is project based, and has the teacher in the role of a facilitator in the classroom rather than in front of the class presenting or demonstrating,” said James Kulzer, Project Lead the Way Teacher at Lincoln K-8.
